Choose the right antimicrobial products to protect surfaces and inhibit bacteria growth.

It took a global pandemic for companies to adopt new cleaning procedures to combat the effects of bacteria using antimicrobial coatings. That is not likely to end anytime soon.

Sales of antimicrobial coatings and dividers have increased drastically way beyond the healthcare field. The antimicrobial market is expected to see another $2B growth by 2025, according to MarketsandMarkets.

It is also likely to become a requirement in all public buildings in the coming years.

What is Antimicrobial Coating?

Antimicrobial technology is not new, but it is now pushed to the forefront of our rapidly changing world. It has also been proven to be justifiable and effective.

The main technology of antimicrobial protection is silver ion, which inactivates bacteria on surfaces leading to cell death. This inhibits germ growth and prevents it from reoccurring.

Silver ions don't kill only bacteria. They work against a wide range of microorganisms including bacteria, fungi, parasites, and viruses. It is also useful for mold destruction and prevention.

How Does it Work?

We offer two products that give the antimicrobial protection:

QHF Q-COAT AMC™

Read more about Q-Coat AMC here.

QHF paint uses silver ions to disrupt cell DNA and ultimately rip microbes apart, adding a powerful tool to the disease fighting arsenal.

The benefit of Q-Coat paint is that more than acting as a surface coating, it can be mixed into the paint providing a more far-reaching protection.

Many industries with high-touch and well trafficked areas are utilizing the technology to reassure the public and provide additional protection.

Coat any surface with QHF Q-Coat for added protection. We also do custom paint mixing.

AMGARDTM Safety Shields by Plaskolite

Read more about Amgard Safety Shields here.

Amgard sheets will help stop the spread of viruses by killing bacteria on its surface. AMGARD works by incorporating silver ion technology into its construction.

The plastic sheets are also protected from mold and mildew.

Use the plastic sheets as table-top protectors in restaurants, cut them as door push bar covers, or use them to cover railings.
