Two ways to insert Silicone Edge Graphics, both for a flawless look.

Silicone Edge Graphics is beloved in the industry for its cost benefits, versatility and ease of use.

As a soft signage alternative to rigid graphics, SEG is cheaper to transport, folds easily for storage, and can be reused many times.

Above all, it is so simple to install that anyone can do it. The graphics is inserted into the groove of an aluminum frame which stretches the fabric for a flawless look every time.

The fabric can be used with a strip sewn into or a tape applied to the edge of the graphics. Here are two great ways to apply it.

EDGE-Tex Tape

For those without an industrial sewing machine, Silicone Edge Graphics is still within your reach with EDGE-Tex Tape. This self-adhesive strip is easy to install and can be done by hand for a perfectly flat tensioned surface.

It is used to lock the fabric into aluminum frames for a smooth, taut look.

How to Apply

Add an additional inch to each side of the graphics fabric to create an overhang. Apply the EDGE-Tex Tape to each side, leaving the corners free. Optional: trim off each corner for a better fit.

Next, use a roller and press down firmly on the tape to ensure a secure bond with the fabric.

Fold up the material around the tape to form a corner. Starting at one corner, press the tape into the groove of the frame, then switch to the opposite corner.

Once all corners are firmly inserted into the channel, work on each side until the tape is pushed into the frame.

If needed, use a nail file to push any excess material into the frames for a clean, borderless look.

EDGE-Tex Tape is quick and easy to use and eliminates the need for sewing. Anyone can do it!

GDC Display Silicone Edge Strip

With an industrial sewing machine, sew the Silicone Edge Strip into each fabric edge and then fold and insert it into the frame.

Use Silicone Edge Graphics as an alternative to rigid panel graphics for a stretched and seamless look.

The silicone beading is very strong and can be reused many times, and will stay secure once sewn.
