Naptha evaporates approximately five times faster than mineral spirits type paint thinners, which speeds the drying time of oil based paints, enamels and varnishes. Naphtha also degreases and deans metal, porcelain, wood surfaces. It can be used to thin some adhesives and rubber cements.
